Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Please Please Me" LP, Parlophone PMC 1202, a UK pressing, released in 1963. This is the very first Mono pressing of this iconic LP with "Dick James" publishing credits. Second pressings had "Northern Songs" credits. In addition, the "gold" Parlophone LP labels were shortly switched to the more familiar yellow "block" lettering on the labels. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition; each side has several (side one) to numerous (side two) very light, non-feelable marks. Cover is also in VG condition with some general age wear, nothing severe, pushed corners, some foxing on the back and a somewhat ragged bottom "flipback". Includes an original Emitex inner sleeve in overall very nice shape with some creases but no splits. Rare piece of Beatles vinyl; these first pressings are getting hard to find in any condition.
