RECORD
The vinyl has a fantastic like new gloss shine to the jet black surface.Under VERY close inspection under a strong light there are a couple of very faint removal marks and a VERY light 1inch(approx) surface scuff on side 1(NO audio effect),other than that side 1 is pristine.Side 2 has also has a couple of very faint removal marks, again, other than that side 2 is also pristine. The playback is stunning, simple as that, plays and sounds like a new record would, the best sgt pepper vinyl i have ever heard. The labels are pristine, virtually no spindal wear at all!! I cant see ANY spindal wear on side 1 at all.Side 2 has one or two very faint spindal marks. Both holes are sharp and look un-worn/used.Judging by the labels i believe this record has been played between 5 and 10 times(if that) and one of them was me!!!!

SLEEVE
The Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve is in unbelieveble condition, dead flat with no creases. The laminate has a glossy shine to it,under close inspection there are three small thumbnail creases on the front of the sleeve, which were likely to be their when the sleeve was first made,NO signs of ringwear. The sleeve is ultra clean with barely any corner or edge wear, the spine is awesome, still fully laminted, with NO peeling and with clear text. The inside of the gatefold sleeve is like new, with bright colours and perfect flipbacks. When opened the sleeve still makes a ''like new'' cracking sound. The sleeve has hardly been opened and does not even sit flat(see photo).I will grade this sleeve to be in Excellent plus/Near Mint condition, because i do not want to dissapoint, although most record dealers grade a straight Near mint.

INNER SLEEVE
Most 1st pressings of this classic album came with the lovely red and white ''Fools inner''.But this copy has the earlier and more rarer plain white ''patent applied for'' inner sleeve. This was also issued with the ultra rare early pressings that were missing the ''a day in the life'' credit on the side 2 label,i know this because im lucky enough to have a copy.
