Description
Big Star- "Thirteen" (listed as "Don't Lie To Me" on the label) b/w "Watch The Sunrise" (Ardent 2902) VG++/M- few light scuffs on A-side nap. Hyper rare 1972 mispressing and A-side is actually "Thirteen" (and not "Don’t Lie to Me"). Flip is alternate version of "Watch The Sunrise" with an edited intro. Super rare oddity and only way to get "Thirteen" on a single since it was never officially released that way.
The matrix number should be STXD-0479 and this copy has STXS-0406 etched in the deadwax on the A-side. I've included a scan of that inscription--this is unquestionably the rarest Big Star collectable! Hard to put a value on it so let's start the bidding at $49.99 and see where it ends up.
