Bill Black’s Combo, Little Queenie, London American, Mint unplayed demo

Here is an A-label British demo pressing of Little Queenie by Bill Black’s Combo, released 1964.

It has never been played. Recorded by HI, New York. Catalogue number London American HLU 9925.

The B-side, Boo-Ray, is also mint/unplayed.

You can hear the record at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vesLJdXZXgs

It’s a really good driving instrumental dance number, ideal for Northern Soul fans and mods.

The labels are mint and there are no spindle marks. Both have a unique number stamped by Decca (London American distributors) at the time, 1964.

If being super-critical, one could consider that the vinyl has the very occasional lightish shadow mark indicating the record was once kept in a damp room, but this is really irrelevant to the mint condition, won’t affect the playing, and could probably be cleaned off (I didn’t try because I wanted the record to remain ‘untouched’).
