Description

Bill Evans Trio with Symphony Orchestra, Verve V6-8640, gatefold, Stereo Vinyl LP, SIGNED BY BILL EVANS. Recorded October and December 1965 at Van Gelder Studios, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.  The sound engineer is Rudy Van Gelder whose name is etched in dead space. The unnamed symphony orchestra is conducted by Claus Ogerman.  Symphonic selections by Bach, Chopin, Scriabin, Granados, Faure, and Bill Evans.  The record is very clean and sounds great. Two surface scratches have minimal or no affect on sound quality. The album cover does have ring wear and edge wear but nothing serious. The inner sleeve is generic Verve. See images. This is a seldom-played radio station copy. Bill Evans autographed the record with the inscription "Ray, Thanks for listening! I like this one too. Best always, Bill Evans. Condition is "Used".
