Description
This is a Super Rare 45 RPM Record by Billy Arnell & the Sparkles, and both A & B sides feature the song “Tough Girl”. The record is on the Holly (out of Newark, New Jersey) label, #1001. This record is so obscure, one cat on line lists it a “so rare its obscene!” The song turned up on a recent CD of rarities called “For Millionaires Only Vol. 2” Northern Soul music. I tried to look up a value, but apparently its too obscure for anyone to have a copy for sale! I did find some background on the Sparkles, whom apparently started out as a Texas Garage Band, and went through a load of member changes, but still kept crooning into the 1970’s. All I could find on Arnell, is he is producing some of these rarity compilation CD’s, and producing an album for Heavy Metal Band “Riot”. The record has light play wear for the most part, but since I have nothing to play it on, it is to be sold “as is”. You won’t find another of these anytime too soon!
