DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Master Of Reality. 1st UK Vertigo swirl pressing with embossed laminated box, original reverse swirl inner and matrix ending 1Y1/2Y1. The 6 panel poster is also from 1971 but is either from the original Australian pressing or the second UK version ,apparently mentioned in one of the swirl books, that ive never seen before. Its on dry matt paper, same colour and tone as UK ,not glossy or 4 panel like the reissues and measures 43.5cm X 63cm . Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double.

CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a nice dark sheen. Tilted to light it shows a few very thin light hairlines on each side. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. . Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays EX, possibly better. That includes "Orchid" and "Solitude" which are often spoilt by background sound. This copy plays loud, clean and clear throughout. Box cover retains great shape, EX or very near. It has been stored with 2 cut stiffeners inside to preserve the shape. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing. There is some light laminate lift to area adjacent to front and rear spine edges. The rear of sleeve is really flat and clean. See final photo. The poster is in near to Excellent condition. It still has its original folds and has a few small areas of cellotape residue to rear of poster, none to the front. Original reverse swirl inner is in strong EX condition with less than light wear, fully attached poly and no writing or splits. Really clean labels. Check out the photos. The sleeve, labels and inner have no writing and no rips, stickers or sticker tears.

I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 40-50 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticibly deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
