DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Paranoid. Early UK presing of this classic Sabbath LP. Front and back laminated Gatefold sleeve. Spaceship labels. 1Y2 / 2Y2 Matrix. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: VERTIGO 6360 011 VO price code YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION: (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX+. Vinyl is very clean with a decent sheen. Played majority of this today on my Pro-ject Deck at a decent volume. Sits flat on the turntable. This sounds Excellent . Music is clear and loud with great seperation and power. Trace of background sound in "Planet Caravan" (as always it seems) but music remains loud and prominent. Original cover retains fantastic shape. It is very flat and square. Its that flat i reckon you could use it as a shaving mirror. However, you probably live somewhere that has proper shaving mirrors so no need for that. It has negligable to minimal edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Nice shape to spine. Very clean labels, no writing or rips!!Inside of gatefold is fantastic as well with no writing or sticker tears. No writing, stickers or sticker tears. This was my own copy until a recent upgrade and it was a great companion for many years!!. Fantastic looking and sounding copy of one of the best Lps ever. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of surface sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
