DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Paranoid. Early pressing of this classic Sabbath LP. Gatefold sleeve. Small swirl label with gatefold sleeve and original plain white inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: VERTIGO 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Italy CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+/VG. Vinyl is clean with some sheen left but a lot of brushing and hairlines.. Played passages today on my Pro-ject Deck at a decent volume. Sits flat on turntable both sides Music is reasonably prominent but it has noticable background sound and ticks. The louder/fuller tracks are fine but the quieter ones have more audible background sound. Its playable anyway it sounds fair to very good . I did not hear any jumps or sticks on the bits i have polayed but cant rule them out due to condition of vinyl- I have graded as if it has them. Cover is firm and square and retains decent shape. Not bad at all. Has moderate edgewear and moderate cornerwear and light creasing. Inside of gatefold is nice and clean again with no writing or sticker tears. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of surface sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
