LOT DESCRIPTION
You have probably been waiting, hoping and procrastinating, for so long that you had begun to think you had completely missed the boat. But here is your chance.
The photographs provided are of the actual Black Sabbath LP you are buying.
To the eye test this record is unrivaled and it is easy to forget this LP was released long before other vinyl icons such as Bowie's UK Mercury release of The Man Who Sold The World.

This is the 1970 UK first issue 7-track STEREO LP - the earliest pressing - featuring an erroneous copyright warning inside the gatefold stating that “Copyright subsists in all Stereo recordings…”

CONDITION
Vinyl remains visually strong, lustrous side A is VG+ with signs of previous playing, two visible surface marks across tracks one and two (see photograph provided) but plays through with only a few ticks in quiet sections. This might improve further will an ultrasonic clean. This LP is highly original and has not been touched by cleaning apparatus.
Side B is VG+ / EX- with some minor surface marks visible, but plays through nicely with minimal static/tics on "Evil Woman".
Both Philips labels look like they were printed only last week, very clean, crisp black and white factory printed, without any graffiti, handwriting, stickers or notable spindle marks.
This is a brilliant LP and one that is already extremely hard to find. It was released before Bowie's Mercury UK release of The Man Who Sold The World and an early first Phillips pressing with Misprint is now just as hard to find in any condition.
Were it not for the couple of visible scuffs on the vinyl this record lists today for £2500 +
Now please read on about the breathtaking gatefold sleeve.
The LP sleeve is one of the best in extant, a lightly textured gatefold in very good + / excellent condition, no ring wear, only normal light shelf wear, minor corner rubs and some light wear to the extremities but the spine title credits are fully intact, colorful and very clear. See the many photographs provided.
The original 1970 MADE IN ENGLAND Vertigo "Swirl" record bag is till with the LP, it has the anti-static liner, some minor foxing on the open side, please refer to photographs.
The vinyl LP is stored separately in a Japanese anti-static sleeve.
The photograph included in this LOT has yellowing, discoloration front and rear with creasing and the occasional surface scuff.
Please refer to the many large photographs provided to reassure yourself of the conditions noted.
