Description

An original 1969 copy of BoB on the UK CBS label from a couple of years after 1st release. Matrix A3/B1/C3/D2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover [decent weight vinyl - not flimsy 70's stock!]. The cover is based on the original 1966-69 image, but without flipbacks, and the Claudia Cardinale photo is still showing. Also included are a couple of CBS advertising inners from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. The vinyl is looking awesome I can barely make a single light mark per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Bob was on fine form throughout the 60's - he barely put a foot wrong in my opinion [on record - ha!]. And Blonde on Blonde is one of his all time classics. Best get yourself a good copy - it more than warrants the BEST. And this copy does not disappoint. The audio quality is top-level...with barely any background. Expect nothing more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. It's closing in on perfect - and enables you to FULLY appreciate this masterpiece to maximum affect. This record comes with a full 'damn it.. that's darn good' - guarantee!
Cover (Ex) In marvellous shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front and rear with barely a crease. The interior is superb with barely any signs of ageing. Edge wear is very minor. The text on the spine is all still visible and it's showing some mild compression as is common. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inners (Vg+) Lightly aged. There's one 1c.m.. bottom edge.
