Description

A 1st UK pressing of PLANET WAVES on the pink rim Island label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Robor Limited with pinched spine. On release the text on the rear of the cover was subject to censorship and the record company was forced to include a back-sheet to cover the offending text.
Vinyl (Ex+) In truly superb condition and has only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark on either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This is one hell of a good copy. Interference is almost non-existent. We couldn't detect more than a couple crackles [literally] the whole way through. This is surely one of Dylan's best efforts from his lesser known albums - QUALITY.
Cover (Ex) Famously difficult to find in good condition due to the lack of lamination and the mostly white background. This copy is  in well above average condition. There are one or two light smudges, but nothing remotely noticeable. That front and back cover are in excellent condition with minimal creasing. Edge wear is minimal too and the text on the spine is 100% intact.
Back-sheet (Ex) No rips or marks - just a touch of light ageing on one side.
Inner (Ex) Light ageing no rips.
