Description
So this month I'm working my way through a record collection assembled by a newspaper critic who lived well into her 90s: She accumulated some very interesting discs in her career, and I thought I'd try some of them on the Greater Ebay Public. Most of the records have been well kept, though for some reason, a lot of the LABELs are scratched even when the grooves of the record are nice and clean.
The lady in question had a great interest in recorded comedy, and it's interesting to note how many of these records have a notation that they are for home use only. This means they would not have been permitted on the radio. (The previous owner of these records knew Chicago when it WAS Chicago.) Here is Liberty Music Shop record L-160 by Bruz Fletcjher: "Hilly Brown" and "Keep An Eye On His Business". This is the third of the three Bruz Fletcher singles I've found in the lady's collection, if you're keeping track.
