Description

The record has 47 West 63rd St. NYC address on both labels; 47 West 63rd St., New York 23 address at the bottom of the back cover. Deep groove on both sides. The record has the "ear" and "RVG" inscribed in the dead wax. 8 tracks with leader, Powell, piano; Sam Jones, bass; "Philly" Joe Jones, drums.

Cover: Good(-) 1" split on the top and bottom edges at the insert edge. Some edge and corner wear. Very light stain on the back cover with the outer edge of the stain slightly darker. Stain marks on part of the top and bottom edges and part of the spine on the front cover.

Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are 2 faint, short surface rub marks. These do not affect the sound. A few revolutions at the end of Track 4, Slide 1 have slight, barely audible, groove noise at the end of the track. Slight groove noise at the beginning of Track 1, Side 2, also, very light and short lasting for only 2 or 3 revolutions and equally faint. I have detailed this extremely light noise. This sound is minor and the overall sound quality is close to Mint. I have rated the record conservatively. Audibly checked.
