Description

A rare first pressing Lp, this is THE AMAZING BUD POWELL, Time Waits, Blue Note 1598, released in 1959. Cover condition is not terrific, vg-, no writing, but top and bottom seam is split 3” in from opening. Spine is taped along its edge with silver duct tape. Ring wear/dirt and scuffs with losses of paper. The back has age and scuff wear and stain mark. Disc and labels are a bit nicer. Labels are clean with spindle marks but no paper loss. Heavy vinyl is visually vg+ with a few light surface scratches and scuffs and decent shine. Plays VG+ or better with very little background noise. The music is surprisingly bright and clear. Reasonable starting price with no reserve. Winning bidder pays actual cost for mailing (your choice: Priority Mail, Media Mail, Delivery Confirmation, Insurance?) with secure packing. Air Mail for overseas purchases. Payment by Pay Pal, check or money order. Please check my other auctions this week of similar, rare 1950s and 1960s jazz Lps, all from the same collection.
