Description

Up for auction is the original 1971 rendition of " Trip Thru Hell" by the C. A. Quintet. They were a Minnesotagarage band in the late 60's that hailed from the Twin Cities. This album was ( I believe?) their only album and its reflected the "underground" music that was popular back then. This record is recorded on the original "Candyfloss" label, this is not a remake from the 90's!!!! The album cover shows its age, however, there is no record outline on the front or back of the cover. As you can see, there is a tear out in the center of the front cover. There is also slight wearing on the edge opening of the cover. The back side of the cover has slight edge wear and exhibits a slight discoloration on the top of the cover. This album is in Stereo and carries the part number: CF-7764S. As for the album itself, I hope that the picture shows the "scuff" mark on Side 1 of the album. The mark is on the 1st track ( Trip Thru Hell - Part 1). When played, the scuff mark can be heard, but it did not cause the armature to jump. This information is from the days when I still owned a turntable ( 15 years ago). The album has not been played since then. It has been stored in a cool, dry place for the last 15 years. The inside sleeve is still present however, it is torn and yellowed. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. Thank you...
