Description
Captain Video And His Video Rangers: same 1952, USA/RCA Victor WY-2008. Disc is on yellow vinyl which makes visual grading difficult... it looks EX under a bright light, but it plays with a lot of noise and it skips. It gets a Poor grade for audio playback, even though it looks really nice (labels are clean, too). I'm guessing the kid for got this for Christmas tried to play it on the family Victrola and damaged the grooves... remember, 45s were a new format in 1952! But the big deal here is the comic book/puppet show cover... this 45 was issued with a comic book on newsprint with perforated pages that is designed to be broken apart to create a stage and puppets, so finding it fully intact like this after 66 years is nothing short of a miracle! There's a price (1.05) written upper left front in pencil but very little wear to note. This sleeve gets a strong VG+ grade. Have a look at the pictures. I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and may represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.
