This rare boxed set was produced in a limited edition, individually hand numbered run of 5000. The UHQR itself stood for Ultra High Quality Record.The vinyl is 180gm 'Super Vinyl', developed from improvements made during the creation of CD-4 Quadraphonic records. It is designed to be flatter, more consistent, harder wearing & pressed on an extreme precision press, almost totally eliminating disc eccentricity or warpage. This gives excellent channel separation & is designed for a flat frequency response across the range with negligible distortion or mid-range disc surface vibration. The box itself contains two carbon foam anti stain pads, one fold over stiffening card, a fold-out technical specification manual, a UHQR individually numbered & signed Certificate Of Authenticity, and the 11-track vinyl LP in a unique hand numbered picture sleeve with anti-static inner. The box itself is high quality, textured & embossed with red text. Limited edition of 5000 custom pressings. It was made from the master stamper at the Victor Company of Japan (JVC) plant in Yokohama, Japan during January 1982.

The "Mobile Fidelity Labs" UHQR audiophile album vinyl pressings were not only analogue, audiophile masterpieces and connoisseur delights, they have become true pieces of audio history and lore. These majestic recordings received a meticulous and laborious treatment like no other recordings in the entire history of the recorded sound. They are characterized by the massively extended dynamic and frequency range, mastering from the very first generation of original master tapes, almost compulsive attention paid to the detail and integrity of the pressing, and the highest quality of the material (only the "virgin-", audiophile-grade vinyl was used, and most of the titles were pressed by RCA/Victor and/or Warner-Pioneer corporations of Japan, both known for their near-obsessive attention paid to the fine sonic detail and audio craftsmanship); a special proprietary  technology was used to achieve analogue-like, warm, translucent, radiant, vivid and all-encompassing sound. To this day, many of these recordings remain unsurpassed, delivering music reproduction as close to the actual recording session as possible, without any loss of musical information inherent in the standard practice of mastering from the inferior "production" copies.  THESE RECORDINGS HAVE BEEN ESCALATING IN VALUE AND DEMAND. Simply the very finest album ever to be released by the legendary singer-songwriter before he converted to Islam and gave his heart (and royalties) to his newly-found religion. This is a masterpiece of the genre, an album chockfull of goodies and gems, fine singing and superb songwriting and delicate, competent musicianship. Simply a must-have.

Mona Bone Jakon only began Cat Stevens' comeback. Seven months later, he returned with Tea for the Tillerman, an album in the same chamber-group style, employing the same musicians and producer, but with a far more confident tone. Mona Bone Jakon had been full of references to death, but Tea for the Tillerman was not about dying; it was about living in the modern world while rejecting it in favor of spiritual fulfillment. It began with a statement of purpose, "Where Do the Children Play?," in which Stevens questioned the value of technology and progress. "Wild World" found the singer being dumped by a girl, but making the novel suggestion that she should stay with him because she was incapable of handling things without him. "Sad Lisa" might have been about the same girl after she tried and failed to make her way; now, she seemed depressed to the point of psychosis. The rest of the album veered between two themes: the conflict between the young and the old, and religion as an answer to life's questions. Tea for the Tillerman was the story of a young man's search for spiritual meaning in a soulless class society he found abhorrent. He hadn't yet reached his destination, but he was confident he was going in the right direction, traveling at his own, unhurried pace. The album's rejection of contemporary life and its yearning for something more struck a chord with listeners in an era in which traditional verities had been shaken. It didn't hurt, of course, that Stevens had lost none of his ability to craft a catchy pop melody; the album may have been full of angst, but it wasn't hard to sing along to. As a result, Tea for the Tillerman became a big seller and, for the second time in four years, its creator became a pop star.
