You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE! 1953 Fantasy 10"LP 3-10 W/DEEP GROOVE & GREEN VINYL titled The Charlie Mariano Sextet - Avant - Garde Alto from The Back By featuring Charlie Mariano on Alto Saxophone, Sonny Truitt on Trombone & Baritone Saxophone, Dick Collins on Cornet, Richard Wyands on Piano, Vernon Alley on Bass and Joe MacDonald on Drums.  The vinyl is NM! and the record cover is EX! with some wear and a split seam on the bottom seam and a small piece of tape in the lower right corner of the front cover and a name and date on the back cover in the upper left corner at the top not covering any graphics in black felt pen written very nicely.  I HAVE LISTENED TO BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD AND THE RECORD SOUNDS GREAT!!!   Selections include Come Rain Or Come Shine, My Friend Ethel, After Coffee, Trouble Is A Man, Let's Get Away From It All, The Thrill Is Gone, The Nymph and I've Told Every Little Star.  EXTREMELY RARE AND DIFFICULT ITEM TO FIND IN THIS TRULY WONDERFUL CONDITION!!!  FABULOUS AND CLASSIC JAZZ SAXOPHONIST!!
