The Checkerboard Squares - "Double Cookin'"/"A Day in Sausalito"  ViLLA 705 .
This legendary Bay Area single is arguably the most desired Northern Soul instrumental.the epitome of a dance floor filler, a stomper for the ages.
 One of the biggest dance floor fillers at the all-nighters of the Wigan Casino. It had a re-christening by the notorious Simon Soussan as "Bob Wilson -Strings A Go-Go" and that's what most knew it as back in those days. Needless to say , an all time classic.

This one doesn't appear too often and almost never in such superlative condition. The original copies of this single that do surface on occasion have a "bb hole" drilled thru the labels and are of course in quite "loved", i.e. well played condition. This copy is "Stone Cold Mint". New Old Stock. absolutely beautiful all around.
