Description
- Chicago released "Chicago VI" in June 1973 on Columbia Records. It shot to No. 1 on the charts where it stayed for five weeks thanks to two of the group's biggest hit singles "Feelin' Stronger Every Day" and "Just You 'n' Me." It has a gatefold cover which features artwork produced by the "American Bank Note Company" with silk screened raised ink made to look and feel like currency. The company also gets credit on each of the disc labels.
- This copy (KC 32400) is from the first pressing and is in excellent condition. The original custom inner sleeve with 19th Century Artwork and the gatefold cover are easily VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I rate vintage vinyl. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched P AL-32400-1G \.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 47 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
