CHICKEN SHACK-100 TON CHICKEN

BLUE HORIZON-763218-1969.

Superb progressive blues LP from Chicken Shack. The band got their name from a Jimmy Smith record (Back at the chicken shack) and went through various incarnations through the 60's and 70's. This is a superb slice of the near original line-up, following the departure of Christine Perfect.Produced by Mike Vernon, and features heavy organ and electric blues through-out, this is a must have LP on the legendary 'Blue Horizon' label.

This is a first press, UK Blue Horizon issue, with A1 and B1 matrix's and matt blue labels, gate-fold cover, with inside opening, and a very clean copy, both cover and vinyl, and very hard to find in this condition.

Condition: Cover is EX minus, some slight wear, but intact, solid and very clean. Has a small paper rip on top right, inside of cover(see picture) but hardly noticeable. Spine has a small amount of wear, but intact and very readable, all seams are intact.
Vinyl is EX+, very very clean, only one light paper mark that doesn't affect play at all. Whole album plays perfectly. This is as close to mint as I've ever seen, and labels only have one or two very light spindle marks.
