[BIG C 1001, US]
HOLY GRAIL TIME!!! It might seem alien that a 45 by Clarence Carter could be truly rare, but here you have one which definitely is. A lot of people think that "I'm So Tired" is an LP-only track, but here you have the widely unknown to exist original private pressed US 45 release of "I'm So Tired", one of the best tunes he ever recorded, and a MONUMENTAL hands-in-the-air type of BANGING modern soul dancer. Listen to this if you don't know it! This 45 was released on Carter's own Big C label in 1979 or 1980. It can't have been pressed in many copies, and it didn't make a dent on any charts. It hardly ever turns up for sale, and it is brilliant. "I'm So Tired" was reissued on 45 in 1995 on Ronn, but that version features some intrusive/annoying synth drums and add-ons that ruins the tune. Here you have the original release.
Vinyl condition: EX- (very light scratches, some clicks on intro, otherwise plays superb, listen!)
