** A Holy Grale album for COLOSSEUM Collectors **

COLOSSEUM - Valentyne Suite

Very scarce 1969 original UK 5-track stereo LP on the large Vertigo 'swirl' label with 'A Phillips Record Product' credit at the bottom, opening with the classic, The Kettle, housed in a superb Keef designed gatefold picture sleeve with die-cut 'swirl' inner. The cover is Excellent & is especially nice considering it was never laminated. There are some light scuffs around the edges, the panels remain nice & sturdy with no writing & all text is clearly legible, including the spine. The vinyl is Excellent with very few signs of play. Recommended VO1. The matrix numbers are 1Y*1 and 2*Y*1. The centre label on side A is given over to the large Vertigo swirl logo – the details appearing on side B. The track details for side B appear as “Themes” on the sleeve but as “Parts” on the vinyl label. All good indications that this is a first pressing.

Original UK 1st press vinyl gatefold LP record with on the early large swirl VERTIGO record label from 1969.
