This is the very-rare, original, 1st UK Pressing of "Colosseum" Valentyne Suite on the VERTIGO "Swirl" label; cat.no. VO 1 847 900 VTY on vinyl LP.
Original Gatefold sleeve
Original SWIRL Inner Sleeve.
The vinyl is strictly graded by me as NR MINT for side A with basically no marks and hardly any signs of being played Side B again has very little signs of being played but has a couple of mottle effect patches that don't feel or sound but can be seen, The LP plays exeptionally and has a wonderful original shine, The marks mentioned on side B sometimes occur when left in polylined inner sleeve for many years but I repeat again The marks do not sound and do not feel they are just there, It is a stunning copy and must be treasured by a collector - this is a seriously collectable LP on the vertigo labels.
The trademark "Swirl" VERTIGO labels are really clean exept for a couple of off white spots.
Swirl Inner Is creased at corners and is yellowed over time.
The Gatefold cover has very minor wear to edges,corners and spine, sleeve is flat clean and crisp, There is no creasing - just the minimal edge wear. It is the first press sleeve with 'WARNING' 'STEREO Info box' and 'A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT' all inside gatefold, Rates VERY GOOD PLUS being cautious.
