Description
CREATION REBEL - "REBEL VIBRATIONS"...original 1979 UK LP...first pressing...on Hitrun ?Records (AP LP 9004)...superb dub album from Doctor Pablo and his cohorts...CONDITION (cover/record): M-/EX...vinyl looks like it's never been played - has NO spindle marks on labels...just has some light paper-scuffs, merely from movement within the inner sleeve...
TRACKS:
A1 Rebel Vibration 5:31
A2 Jungle Affair 4:25
A3 Hunger And Strife 5:04
A4 Ian Smith Rock (Dub) 3:46
B1 Diverse Doctor 4:41
B2 Mountain Melody 5:10
B3 Black Lion Dub 2:12
B4 Doctor's Remedy 3:21
REVIEW: "An instrumental dub affair that can now be appreciated as largely experimental in its approach, described by Adrian Sherwood as "...exploring the unique possibilities of space in sound within the disciplined structures of rhythm, using bassline melodies and relying as much on the understated side of the overall result, as on the overstated...".
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
