Inner Sleeve Condition

Traditional clear plastic “U” shaped Japanese inner sleeve, I have stored the record in a MFSL style rice-paper poly-sleeve for protection purposes.

Lyric Insert Condition

There was NO lyric insert necessary or issued with this album, since the lyrics are printed in Japanese inside the gatefold cover, and the lyrics are printed in English on the back cover.

Gatefold Cover Condition

Cover is in beautiful M- condition.  Just incredible for this soft, textured cardboard cover, no seam splits, no ring-wear, no writing, not even any spots on the inside gatefold, it’s still bright white.  This album has been very well cared for and properly stored for all these many years, a rare opportunity to acquire an original example of this hugely popular recording in top condition.

Record Condition

A beautiful, shiny, new looking slab of black vinyl.  There are some light spindle marks near the center hole on each label, barely visible when the record is held at an angle to a bright light.  Just incredible to find such a rarely seen original first pressing record in such fantastic condition.  If this is an album you would like for your collection, I don’t think you will find a better example.

Obi Condition

The original Obi is in SUPER condition, both front AND back!  No tears, writing or spots, please see pictures!

Always stored properly in a heavy outer plastic protective cover, a beautiful example of her classic, highly desirable, much loved and best album…

35 years old now…

…and a required album, in fact THE album, for any Carole King fan, a very rare offering!

I do not use eBay's "Check Out" service, so please wait for me to contact you after the auction is complete.

Packaging:

You will see from my eBay feedback that I package very securely.  Records are removed from jackets to prevent seam-splits, records and covers are placed inside re-sealable plastic outer protective covers, and "sandwiched" between two pieces of cardboard cut to a size larger than the album cover in order to protect the cover from corner-dings during shipping.

I have not had any problems with damaged records as a result of my own packaging, but I do recommend Insurance on the more expensive items, I cannot be held responsible for what happens to the package after it leaves my possession.

Shipping to the U.S.

Priority shipping for a package weighing anywhere from 2lbs. to 3lbs. is $5.00 to $9.00 depending on your location.  I do not charge a "Handling" fee, shipping calculations will be made using the USPS website  (http://postcalc.usps.gov/) based on your Zip code.

Payment for U.S. Buyers:

Money Orders are preferred (no checks).  Paypal is fine.  I do not use eBay's "Check Out" service, so please wait for me to contact you after the auction is complete.  Once I have the winning bidder's address information I will calculate exact shipping using the USPS website (http://postcalc.usps.gov/) and send you a total including (optional but recommended) Insurance and Priority Shipping to your destination.

International Shipping:

I have made many friends and many new record buying contacts around the world through these auctions, it is my pleasure to make these records available to everyone who loves music and who is interested in purchasing quality record Lp's.  I have plenty of experience shipping record Lp's internationally.  Once I have the winning bidder's address information, I will calculate exact shipping using the USPS website (http://postcalc.usps.gov/)

Payment for International Buyers:

For Buyers from outside the U.S., please use Paypal, and please pay in U.S. dollars.  Once I have your address, I will send you a total including Insurance and Airmail Shipping to your destination.

From my previous international shipping experience, I understand that some people prefer to go without Insurance, have the package declared as a “gift”, and would like a low "Declared Value" to avoid import duties/taxes.  That's fine, but at your own risk, I cannot be responsible for what happens to the package after it leaves my possession.

Any winning bidder is welcome to combine multiple items to save on shipping.

Thanks very much for looking, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me, I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Scott
