Cal Robbins Charity
All things auctioned here will go to towards a great cause to help the son of J. Robbins and Janet Morgan, the local duo who front indie-rock band Channels, Cal suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, a debilitating disease that currently has no cure. Most babies who suffer from SMA die before their second birthday, and the medical bills to deal with the disease are obviously quite exorbitant. To say that Robbins and Morgan need every bit of help is an understatement. AMP Magazine will be acting as a hub for some of our friends in the industry to be able to help with this cause, and others that we are faced with in our extended family. Some of us grew up at places like Gilman Street, Berkeley CA. We remember, and believe, that a community acting together can do a lot of good. Please remember this isn't an AMP thing, we are merely a hub for our friends support. What you see auctioned has been donated directly from those mentioned, their own actions, and their concern for this situation. We are merely a hub for this. Please know that, and thank them directly for their help, if you feel so moved.

? Description: Second full length release from Philadelphia’s, the Loved Ones. Produced by Pete Steinkopf and Bryan Keinlen from the Bouncing Souls and features cameos from the Hold Steady’s Franz Nicolay (piano, Hammond B3 organ, harmonica, accordion, saw) and Tad Kubler (guitar). The new album hints at Americana rock n’ roll with expanded instrumentation, plenty of backing vocals and a thematic concept based on the album title.
