Description
On offer is the rare limited edition Charlie PARKER 3-LP Box Set issued by Tony Williams of Spotlite Records in the mid 1970's of the "Modern Jazz Collector Series: THE FABULOUS BIRD BLOWS". This set includes an insert page and reissues of the original 12" LP issues of Dial 901, 904, and 905 with the original 'Bruce Mitchell' cover art. The records are: Dial 901 "Bird Blows The Blues", Dial 904 "Alternate Masters Vol. 1" and Dial 905 "Alternate Masters Vol. 2". The records feature Miles Davis, JJ Johnson, Howard McGhee, Errol Garner, Lucky Thompson, Wardell Gray, Max Roach, etc.
All the records and their inner jackets are mint (MT), being never played, and the insert also still new. The box, is excellent (EX) with overall general shelf wear. The front and back covers of the box are quite clean and the red front paste-on label is unmarked.
