Here is one of the most legendary recording sessions ever laid to wax. These two cuts and musicians contained here shaped and changed jazz to this day. It features one of Miles' first recordings at 19. Max Roach, Bird, Curley Russell, and Hen Gates on piano; which was actually Dizzy Gillespie on both cuts.
The shellac is actually quite good for being 69 years old. VJM Visual Grade = E (78) Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.There is one caveat: it contains a slight crack and I believe it will still play but have not checked it.
