This is a super, super original and out of print album by Miles Davis along with other true Modern Jazz Giants Milt Jackson, Thelonious Monk, Percy Heath, and Kenny Clark. The members of his quintet, Coltrane, Garland, Chambers and Jones join Miles only on 'Round Midnight.

Though a contentious recording session, they got together and produced outstanding takes of The Man I Love (takes 1 & 2), Swing Spring, Bemsha, and "Round Midnight.
