Up for bid is an extremely rare 7" EP, "The Chirping Crickets." This is an original US press, released by Brunswick Records in 1957. Songs include: Side 1: That'll Be the Day / I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love and Side 2: Oh, Boy / Not Fade Away. EP is VG+, with a few scuffs and light scratches on each side. There is some surface noise (clicks, tics, and pops) but no skips. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Stamped matrix number for Side 1 is as follows: S3870 1 at the "7 O'Clock" position in the dead wax, and two numbers, a stamped "2" that has been marked through and to the left of it a stamped "1" at the "3 O'Clock" position. The matrix info for Side 2 is as follows: S3871 1 at the "6 O'Clock" position, and a stamped "1" at the "12 O'Clock" postion. The picture sleeve jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is light wear on all four corners. There is light scuffs (on the front) and some small spots of discoloration (on the front and back). There is light wear along the lip.
