Description
Clifford Jordan Cliff Craft Blue Note 1582 "47 West 63rd NYC" with Deep Groove. Rare and one of the harder to find 1500s.
Clifford Jordan (ts), Art Farmer (t), Sonny Clark (p), George Tucker (b), Louise Hayes (d) Recorded 1957
"47 West 63rd NYC" label with "RVG" and "The Ear" aka "P" in the runout both sides. No "R" and No "Inc.". Record is deep groove both sides. Cover is laminated and has "47 West 63rd St., New York 23" address. There is no printing on the spine.
A clean, very nice copy that plays beautifully, cleanly and quietly. Record looks and plays VG++ and very near M-. You will not be looking for an upgrade. On Side 1 on first track there is a app 1 inch scuff mark that is not "feelable" and does not affect play. No scratches. Record is bright and glossy and grooves do not look gray or heavily worn. Some label damage on Side 1.
Cover is VG toVG++.
Front is glossy and bright has moderate wear showing on the white background. Bottom seam is split and heavily worn 1 and 1/8 inches at the pocket and is untaped. Rest of the seam OK with 2 small pieces of laminate missing 1/4 inch total. Spine intact. Top seam has tiny, less than 1/8 inch, beginning of seam split at the pocket. Rest of seam OK. Spots of wear at the corners. The back cover has moderate to heavy wear with some fading and staining. Area 1/2 inch wide by 1 and 1/4 inch long under "High Fidelity" where laminate is missing, probably due to sticker removal.

My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
