Description
This is the rare UK 1st press of ‘Valentyne Suite’ by Colosseum. This press is complete with the earliest 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, the large swirl Vertigo label, superb heavy flat edge vinyl and Marcus Keefe gatefold sleeve. The vinyl is complete with the original swirl Vertigo inner sleeve. This issue has the Philips credit on the label but not the sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl is still glossy with just a few light marks on both sides. When played the sound is extremely bold and clear. There is some light noise but is still enjoyable throughout. The swirl Vertigo label is extremely clean and bright. The white is sharp, the black is bold and the text completely clear. There is just the slightest spindle wear.
The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colours are warm and bright and the image is sharp. There is a little edge wear and the spine is no longer legible. The inside has a little wear and but is still very bright and clean. The whole sleeve is generally in good condition, intact with no tears or writing. There is a price sticker mark to the rear.
