Description
Colosseum - Valentyne Suite (Original UK Vinyl LP 1st Pressing Vertigo Swirl)
Original U.K. 1st pressing on the Vertigo Swirl label. "A Philips Record Product" credit is on the B Side label and on the inside of the gatefold sleeve.
Side A of the Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Glossy vinyl and great audio. There are some light surface marks but the vinyl plays as excellent with the occasional light crackle during quieter passages of music.
Side B is mainly VG+ although there is one small scratch on the middle of track 1 which produces some clicks.
The gatefold sleeve is in Good condition.Mainly Very Good with some light scuffs on the spine and edges but graded as Good as there is a surface tear on the top right of the front cover and another small surface tear on the left of the back cover (see photos).
Both labels are clean and unmarked.
The original Vertigo Swirl die-cut inner sleeve has a split the length of one side and a small split on the centre of the opposite edge and the bottom edge.

I ALWAYS PLACE THE RECORD OUTSIDE THE OUTER SLEEVE TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE IN TRANSIT. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
