Regular readers of my clearout over the past couple of months must be wondering 'How many copies of this album does this guy have ?!'. Well the answer is that I did own 4 copies at one stage, all slightly different. I'm now down to my last two and the only reason I'm selling this lovely example is that I've just bought a fabulous copy signed by members of the original band. This is a genuine first pressing, with the Philips credit on the label.
The cover is a clear Excellent, with only minor scuffing along the bottom and top edges. The lettering is still clearly visible on the spine. The swirl bag is present but I'm not sure if it is the original because the polylined inner seems seems to be of a slightly later type ie.smooth to the touch, and not old-fashioned polythene if you know what I mean.
The vinyl is a Very Good + and just misses out on an Excellent grading because of four inaudible light scuffs on Side 2 and two (also inaudible) hairline marks on the same side. The labels are clean and bright and there is only a small amount of spindlewear. The vinyl retains a lovely 'as new' sheen and the audio is truly fantastic, with only a hint of light crackle here & there.
I would prefer PayPal, although I will accept a cheque (UK only) on the understanding that I will not post the record until the cheque has cleared.
I do not usually accept returns, as I aim to be totally honest with my descriptions at all times. If buyers are genuinly unhappy with their purchase, they will have to pay the return postage before receiving a refund !
All records are carefully packed, using stiffeners at all times.
Postage to the UK is £3, plus 70p extra for each additional LP. Normally I post second class in the UK, but I will arrange recorded delivery on request. I will post very expensive items either recorded or special delivery as a matter of course.
Postage to Europe is £4, plus £1 extra for each additional LP.
