This is complete set of 44 original (1st pressing) Blue Note “Classic” LPs, issued from 1979-1981. 41 sessions are either previously unreleased or the first U.S. issue; the exceptions are LT-1046/Jazz Crusaders, LT-1053/Joe Pass, and LT-1065/Art Blakey. 35 are in total or partial shrink wrap; 9 are in protective poly sleeves. All have the original Blue Note inner sleeves. There are no cut-outs (hole punch, corner clips). The records have been played, at most, once, and some are still sealed. Covers without shrink wrap are clean and bright throughout, showing virtually no wear. The Cuscuna/Ruppli “The Blue Note Label” discography documents the following “Classic” catalogue numbers with the LT prefix: 987, 988 989, 990, 991, 992, 993, 994, 995, 996, 1028, 1030, 1031, 1032, 1037, 1038, 1044, 1045, 1046, 1051, 1052, 1053, 1054, (1055 has never been issued), 1056, 1057, 1058, 1064, 1065, 1075, 1076, 1081, 1082, 1085, 1086, 1088, 1089, 1091, 1092, 1095, 1096, 1100, 1101, 1102, 1103. Sold only as a complete set. Session leaders include Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Donald Byrd, Andrew Hill, Dexter Gordon, Larry Young, Art Pepper, Jackie McLean, Bill Evans, and Art Blakey.
