Up for sale is a collectible copy of Count Basie and His Orchestra’s LPM 1112, featuring swinging big-band jazz arrangements that helped define an era. This pressing is especially notable for its iconic Andy Warhol cover art. The recordings on this album were made between May 1947 and February 1950, capturing Basie and his orchestra at a peak period of creativity and swing excellence.
Condition:
Vinyl: VG – Plays very close to a VG+. There is little to no noise throughout. There is a one inch feeler on side one that causes a single pop with each rotation of the last song. It does not skip.
Sleeve: VG – The cover is fantastic. Spine is intact. There are 1/2 inch splits at the front on the top and bottom. Overall, it is in really good shape.
A fantastic collectible for fans of Count Basie, classic swing, or unique LP cover art. Ships securely and with care.
