Description

An original very 1st press of WOF on the Polydor label with textured labels [the earliest]. This is the single LP "studio" version. matrix A1/B1 - very 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original silver foil cover. Also included is the original poly-line inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) A beautiful copy which has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of lightest marks both side and one very superficial trail - absolutely nothing that remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Pretty hard to find fault..it plays clean the whole way through. Nigh on faultless. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. Even the fussiest tracks like 'Passing Time' are as clean as you could possibly hope for. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg) Not up to the condition of the vinyl, but passable. Relatively clean front with a bit of surface wear. The rear exhibiting a good bit of ring wear and creasing - as is common on this title. There's not that much edge wear. Except on the spine where the foil has largely worn away leaving very little of the text visible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Aged at the extremities. No splits.
