Description
Up for auction is this incredibly rare and scarce private Georgia release by the group Cross Fire Country Ltd there is almost nothing online about this group. Which is a real same cause it's a really ambitious effort ALL original songs! And actually a really strong album with well written words and compositions mostly on the lighter end of country rock but more than makes up for that in the quality of the songwriting and playing it's a real same nobody has ever heard of this group.
Not on discogs no past sales from what I'm seeing. Could be the only copy in existence! Seems like this album was the brainchild of singer Reed Lovell as he is credited as writing all the songs on the lp.
I've given this album a thorough listen and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of quality material by such an unknown band. Also has a very nice quality production doesn't sound at all like a privately pressed album which is yet another bonus.
Another note to add is it appears on the label they misspelled the bands name on both sides instead of saying "crossfire country" it says "crossfire county" which is some added confusion but no doubt the music is very strong I'm guessing from either the late 70's or early 80's guessing by the production value.
Condition:
Cover- VG+ to VG++ very tight seams just some slight spine wear and light discoloration to the white back cover.
Vinyl- also VG+ to VG++ very strong condition and plays really well with minimal surface noise between tracks really plays like a charm. Some light scuffs
Super rare opportunity to own this title you won't wanna miss out on this one! Might never be another chance to own this awesome lp. Good luck and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask! And yes I do ship internationally!
