Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Punk classic in near mint condition. Old eBay prices: $43 + £26 + £25 + £25 + £25 + £25 again. This is the original first 12“ pressing of the ‘New Rose’ release. There is ‘1977' printed on the original ‘Stiff’ labels (catalogue number BUY IT 238) but this rarity was released in 1985. Again, it's the FIRST PRESSING IN 12” FORMAT. You can listen to the DAMNED classics ‘New Rose’ / ‘Neat Neat Neat’ / ‘Help’ / ‘Stretcher Case’ and ‘Sick Of Being Sick’. It should be noted that the version of ‘Sick Of Being Sick’ featured here is an unreleased outtake, from the Shel Talmy session, with Dave Vanian’s guide vocal. The version of this track that did appear on the B side of ‘Stretcher Case Baby’ was, an edit of the track, actually recorded at the band’s second John Peel session in May 1977. Classic in superb condition.
