This is a very early press with the glossy orange labels, later copies had the matt orange label and then the album was reissued on the RCA International green label in the 1980s which was followed by the more flimsy German pressings. The original pressings are by far the best with heavier, pre oil crisis vinyl, breathtaking audio and are very sought after. The winning bidder will not be disappointed with this one! It will be dispatched to the winning bidder by recorded delivery 1st class shipping (hence the price of postage) and will be enclosed in high quality 450G outer sleeve and a new poly lined inner (please see photos).Matrix numbers 4E on side 1 and 3E on side 2. This has been played right through and played flawlessly on my system, just a little bit of light surface noise on some quieter parts but nothing that overpowers the music. No skips or jumps. A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE AN EXCELLENT EARLY COPY OF THIS CLASSIC ALBUM
Both sides are in EXCELLENT condition visually with a few light non-sounding lines. Playback on both sides is EXCELLENT PLUS. Both labels are also in EXCELLENT condition with a no spindle lines visible. Sleeves shown in photos are the ones that the record will be sent in to winning buyer.
The matt single sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition, generally solid with edge and corner wear and ring wear on the front, a sticker removal on the top left of the sleeve is visible, the spine is also very good, fully legible. This sleeve is quite fragile and often turns up worn and battered, this one has no rips, marks or tears.
The lyric insert is in EXCELLENT condition with no rips or tears. A very nice, genuine original early press of this album which deserves to be in any serious record collection.
Low starting price with no reserve. Sensible offers accepted. Any questions please message me. The record will be packed very carefully. More photos available on request. Bid with confidence. Good luck, happy bidding! 😊
