Made In England

Year Of Release 1971

Brilliant Bowie album and probably my personal favourite, although it is extremely tough to choose because of the high quality of his recordings, especially in the 1970's.

Although this example does not have the laminated sleeve it is a very early pressing without the 'Mainman' credit on sleeve, labels or insert and has the full glossy orange labels. Dating from 1971 this LP didn't sell too well upon release so was re-pressed after the success of Ziggy Stardust later with his new found management company's name Mainman credited on sleeve and record labels.  is a definite non laminated sleeve ist issue in really nice condition. First issues like this one are becoming harder and harder to find, so keep your eyes on it!

Vinyl and Labels - Excellent

Some faint hairlines visible under harsh light, sounds superb, with just the odd isolated click and mild non excessive background in quiet sections and in between tracks. No serious issues at all, looks and sounds wonderful.

Sleeve & Lyric Insert  - V. Good/Excellent

The outer sleeve is in very good condition with some non excessive edge wear and a bit of ring wear on black section at front to and a small 1 cm neatly repaired teat at opening edge rear. Overall a strong very good condition with no serious faults, all text apart from some on bottom of spine is perfectly readable and strong and colours and graphics are strong and sharp, a very respectable 43 year old sleeve

The original lyric insert which is printed on nicer, heavier paper than later issues is in great excellent condition with no real faults to mention, only a small amount of discolouration to a small section and some non excessive storage wear only, looks superb.

FANTASTIC POSTAGE DEAL

Any item which sells for over £50.00 I will pay the extra cost for tracking service and cover up to final value price. Buyer only pays for standard rate shipping.

I am a record collector myself and know how important it is to receive records in the condition they are advertised in and for them not to be damaged in transit through inadequate packaging.

I send out all my records using strong stiff cardboard with extra bubble wrap protection. Also, the record is removed from outer and original inner sleeves, placed in a strong non original inner, then it goes inside protective polythene sleeve side by side with original sleeves.
