Description
A rare "STOCK" copy of this hard to find 45 RPM record.
Based on online research, I believe this STOCK 45 is a difficult record to find - there are no past listings on either eBay, Popsike or Discogs. All of the copies that I could find that had sold in the past were "Promotional" copies.
Disc condition:
Visually, the disc is in only "Fair" condition - when you hold the disc under strong, direct light, you can see scratching and signs of general wear. I suppose you could say the visual rating might verge on "Poor" condition, but I am rating it closer to "Fair".
HOWEVER, the disc plays better than it looks.
I have played the 45 on a good, quality turntable and here is a description of how both sides actually sound:
**Side one has some light crackle that you can hear from the beginning of the record until about the end of the first verse of the song. After that, I cannot hear any cracking sound.
**Side two has some light crackle that you can hear from the beginning of the record until about the end of the first verse of the song. After that, you can hear an occasional isolated light crackle sound throughout the song, coming mainly from the left speaker.
The crackling sound on both sides as described is audible, but not overwhelming.
Other than the crackling sounds, both sides play cleaning and clearly without groove distortion.
Both disc labels are in decent overall shape as seen in photos, with light signs of ring wear and shelf wear.
