Great copy of this one.
Original 1970 pressing with the cowboy cover. Sleeve is nice and colorful. Some ringwear. Price sticker residue and a tiny spot that's been worn on the opening side. No splits. Spine is perfect. Sleeve is tight.
Vinyl looks good. Normal wear for age. Nothing that should distract.
Apparently this record was heavily counterfeited. To the best of my knowledge this is a LEGIT copy. From Discogs:
It's pretty easy to tell if you have a counterfeit.
-An unofficial pressing will have hand etched matrices rather than machine printed.
-The playback has noticeable background noise. Depending on how they were looked after, some official copies will have that too obviously.
-The colours on the fake copy's sleeve will be lighter.
-The sleeve of the fake copy will be flexible and thin, versus an official copy which is thicker cardboard.
-The three black Mercury lines on the top right hand corner of the sleeve will carry over across the top of an official sleeve, visible from both the front and back of the cover. An unofficial copy will simply have three lines printed on the front, not reaching over the top of the sleeve.
This record meets ALL the criteria set above plus it has stamped matrix numbers in the runout area rather than handwritten.

All records are shipped in a mylar sleeve and in a VERY secure cardboard wrapping. I package to withstand a hurricane. Or the USPS.
