Description
This is a UK - ED1 - FFSS - Wideband - Deep Groove pressing of Decca SXL 2164. Ravel's Daphnis Et Chloe Complete Ballet. Pierre Monteux conducts The London Symphony Orchestra with the Chorus of The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Chorus Master is Douglas Robinson.
The record is clean but has a small pressing flaw toward the end of side 2 (looks like some sort of debris impregnated in the vinyl) which causes tics for several revolutions. Otherwise the record is NM--.
The flipback jacket is in VG+ condition with a taped over one and a half inch tear on the front and the letter "G" written on back in blue. Original Decca inner sleeve. A TAS list recording.
I try to grade records accurately. Most records are play graded.
Quoted shipping in the domestic U.S. is by Media Mail. International shipping is by USPS first class international mail. Heavier packages must be shipped by USPS International Priority mail. I prefer to combine shipping to save costs. Generally in the U.S. each additional record adds about $.75 to the shipping charge. On international shipments, each additional record generally adds about $5 to the shipping charge. Records are shipped in heavy cardboard mailers designed specifically for LP's with bubble wrap or cardboard inserts for protection.
If you feel that my description of the record is inaccurate in some respect, you can return the record for a refund of the full purchase price (less shipping).
If you want a record held for future shipping, please email me so I know that is your intention. I prefer that you pay for the record at the time of purchase since ebay charges me at the time the sale closes.
