Description

SUPERB WIDE BAND GROOVE ED1 COPY OF THIS EXCEPTIONALLY RARE ALBUM
BERLIOZ : SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE Ataúlfo Argenta & Paris Conservatoire Orchestra DECCA SXL 2009 : MATRIX 3E & 3E
"Original Recording By"
This is an exceptionally fine copy of this wonderful first UK pressing. The vinyl grades conservatively EX++ with some extremely light superficial markings which are generally only visible with the use of an eye glass or under a strong halogen bulb. The album plays beautifully with hardly any background noise. I have only used a carbon fibre brush to clean so far, so imagine that if any dust were removed using a professional cleaning machine this would probably grade NM. Given the rarity of the album I have chosen to grade very conservatively and I suspect it is unlikely that you would need to upgrade from this copy.
The labels are clean except for a number sticker stuck on one side. I have not tried to remove this.
The cover is in EX+ condition with some light creasing to the seam, some light ring wear and two numbers handwritten corresponding to the sticker on the label. Apart from these imperfections this is a very nice sleeve indeed.

Happy bidding!
