This is an early UK Press of ‘Deep Purple' by Deep Purple. This press is complete with the original gatefold laminated Ernest J Day sleeve, the early SHVL 759 A-1 / B-2 matrix and the original Harvest inner sleeve.
The record is in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is absolutely sensational, every track gleams. The record has the original jet black finish and the grooves show no sign of play at all. The label is also sensational. The colours are crisp and bright and there is no spindle wear, just a couple of very light spider marks. We very carefully played this album and we are pleased to say it sounds as good as it looks. Sensational. Exceptional audio seperation.
The gatefold sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The colours are bright and the image is sharp. The grey is solid and the laminate is flat and completely unworn. The inside is superb, like new. The spine is very firm and the whole cover still feels exceptionally solid.
