DEL SHANNON -  Runaway

BIG TOP, BG 705

stereo press - one of the rarest early rock & rockabilly albums in existence.

Believed to be one of less than 40 known copies discovered since 1960. The legend has is that even Del Shannon knew about existence of the stereo pressing of this album until 1980's.


Cover (EX) - some imperfections on edges - visible on images. Laminat is shiny and glossy

LP  (G ) -I gave only good condition because its hard to me to describe this item and I dont want to overrate (looks bad bad plays better). LP has  lots of small paperscuffs, some hairlines and few little scratches. Record was very dirty so I gave it to music shop to  professional cleaning (used german ultrasonic VPI machine worth ca. 3000 usd ...one of the best on market) - dirt was removed but not all... on surface are still eaisly visible lightmarks where was a dirt( see photos) - most of them are concentrated on runaway song.  

Audio - not perfect but still enjoyable. Below should be visible audiosamples - more avalible on demand.
