"This second album by The Deviants is a far better record than their famous debut LP Ptooff! if you ask me. Disposable is way more psychedelic than it's predecessor and that's the main reason why I prefer this one. Their first album was a very raw mix of garage rock and proto-punk sound with psychedelic elements. Disposable on the other hand is a psychedelic rock record with elements from garage rock and proto-punk."
I think this record is a pretty balanced totality and if you enjoy raw psychedelic rock workouts, this album is worth checking out. I also think that this LP is pretty underrated especially if I compare it to Ptooff!. I would rate this enjoyable record with 4 stars. While it's not an essential masterpiece it's still a great record from the start to the finish."(review rateyourmusic.com)
Hippy Trippy Acid Psych Rock.
Foldout Sleeve: EX. Front and back laminated and with two inner flipbacks. The Lp is inserted from the inner gatefold where there is an opening at the centre to house the vinyl, so very convoluted, but very quirky indeed. This sleeve is in GREAT CONDITION it almost always turns up with excessive damage, not this one! Barely any storage wear. A fully legible spine! The front is EX with NO RUBBING TO THE SURFACE, NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STAINING, and just one small crease to the rear bottom!! An album that is rarely seen these days and very collectible indeed! Tiny corner "micro" bumps.
Vinyl: EX+. A beautiful, barely played ultra heavy vinyl. This has the original first press textured STABLE labels. The matrices are machined. There are NO scratches or hairlines at all. It must have been stored away safely for many decades inside a polythene outer sleeve. This album is now 53 years old but in time warp condition. The replay on my Linn Sondek /B&W system was outstanding and dynamic, courtesy of the quality heavy vinyl. The best copy you will ever be likely to find of this rarity.
